Penny pitching in pursuit of pounds through these hard times.

Torn between financial debase yet an antithetical sense of ataraxis in my roles shortened hours, I find myself paralyzed on where to go next. Do I pick up another occupation in atonement of the lost hours which has resulted in reduced remuneration? Or do I stick to the comfort of what I'm guaranteed monthly and just appreciate the overtime whenever it comes forth? While I do my best to set aside a lump-sum of funds per paycheck, the cost of living and lack of available overtime offsets all efforts, making my funds seem infinitesimal.
